In recent times De Rijke Spain has improved its storage and handling capabilities, including temperature-controlled storage and specific handling of chemicals, raw materials and finished products. In addition, it has significantly increased its fleet of trucks and its human team, with 27 trucks and 36 employees in 2024.

This will allow us to centralize operations in Spain, unite the two current warehouses and activities into one, and take advantage of synergies to optimize loading capacity, storage and logistics services, as well as promoting more agile and effective work. This new warehouse also gives the possibility of growing with plans to expand business lines and penetrate market niches that we have been exploring.”

The logistics warehouse has a surface of 14,348 m², which will allow us to increase storage capacity by more than 40%, increasing from 9000 to 13000 pallet locations.

We are going to make an investment to equip the warehouse with the highest standards in the storage of dangerous chemicals (APQ-10), including special bunkers with strict containment and security measurements.

The infrastructure has 15 loading docks and a free height of 11.7 meters. Its low occupancy (below 50%) and the great connectivity of the location (both land and sea routes), make this asset an ideal location for the type of operation we carry out.
