Our ESG Approach: Focus and Connection
Sustainability at De Rijke Group is driven by impact, feasibility, and continuous improvement. Our ESG approach (Environmental, Social & Governance) focuses on the topics that are most relevant to our operations, stakeholders, and the logistics chain in which we operate.
When defining our sustainability priorities, we deliberately chose a pragmatic approach. As the CSRD is no longer applicable to De Rijke Group, we have concentrated on 20 material ESG topics that align with our risks, opportunities, and societal impact. This focus enables us to create structure without unnecessary complexity.
By integrating sustainability into our strategy, operations, and collaboration with customers and partners, we work toward responsible logistics and long‑term sustainable value creation.
Environment: Sustainable Logistics & Environmental Impact
Within the environmental pillar, the focus is on reducing our ecological footprint. Transport, warehousing, and energy consumption play a central role in this. We invest in cleaner solutions, more efficient processes, and data‑driven solutions to reduce our impact.
